Overview:** Chewy is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Professional to join our team in Louisville, KY at our Fern Valley location. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and wellness services to our customers and their pets. ? Interpret and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
? Review prescriber medication orders to identify potential issues and communicate with veterinarians and customers as needed
? Oversee and direct pharmacy technicians and interns, providing ongoing training and coaching
? Maintain necessary records to meet federal and state legal requirements and pharmacy policies
? Uphold operational standards, including performance metrics, safety, and compliance
? Perform related duties and assignments as directed by management
? May require travel
? *Qualifications:**
? Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
? Active pharmacy license in the state of Kentucky, with license in good standing, and other states and credentials as required
? Strong customer service and attention to detail
? Ability to lead a team
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
? Ability to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
