Overview
As a Senior Payroll Specialist on the Accounting Team, youll be an integral part of Figmas payroll operations, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure seamless coordination.
In Short
Maintain, review and validate data for US payroll using Workday Payroll
Review timesheets, attendance records and leave of absence pay
Audit payroll tax records
Process payments for final paychecks, adjustments and special pay
Create journal entries related to payroll transactions
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams
Participate in audits for 401k and Workers Compensation
File quarterly taxes and issue W-2s
Create and maintain process documentation
Provide payroll reports to internal departments
Requirements
5+ years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing experience
Strong knowledge of Workday Payroll and ADP SmartCompliance
Experience creating journal entries
Experience recording equity transactions
Understanding of US payroll compliance and taxes
Experience building relationships with stakeholders
