The Senior Payroll Specialist at OneDigital is responsible for managing multi-state payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and driving process improvements. This role plays a crucial part in payroll operations, including tax setup, payroll configuration, and compliance auditing, while also providing exceptional customer service to employees. Responsibilities
Β Manage multi-state payroll and related activities including wage and overtime payments, payroll deductions, and separation payments.

Β Execute payroll processing, tax setup, compliance, and payroll configuration within HRIS.

Β Conduct compliance audits and prepare manual payments when required.

Β Coordinate 401(k) contribution and HSA submission processes, ensuring accurate data input.
,
Β Audit and review benefit deductions, reconciling against election and enrollment information.
,
Β Identify areas for improvement in payroll and benefits processes and recommend best practices.

Β Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address issues and optimize operations.
,
Β Complete monthly and quarterly audits related to payroll and benefits.
,
Β Assist with generalist responsibilities when coverage is needed.
Requirements
Β 7-10 years of payroll experience in a dedicated payroll function across multiple states/jurisdictions.

Β Working knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, compliance, and auditing.
,
Β Demonstrated ability to improve processes and diagnose problems.

Β Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

Β Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Β Experience in providing quality customer service.
