Senior Partner Marketing Manager

What You'll Do: Lead the marketing strategy and execution of integrated campaigns and always-on programs that drive pipeline and revenue growth with Avalara’s strategic hyperscaler partners: AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Reporting to the Senior Director of Partner Marketing, you will collaborate cross-functionally to build and scale joint go-to-market programs that accelerate growth, strengthen partner alignment, and expand Avalara’s presence across cloud ecosystems. What Your Responsibilities Will Be: Own the strategy, design, and execution of integrated, multi-channel partner campaigns including ABM, outbound, inbound, nurture, and partner enablement to drive acquisition and expansion within hyperscaler ecosystems Develop and execute joint marketing plans with AWS, GCP, and Azure that align to shared business priorities, pipeline goals, and MDF utilization Lead complex partner campaign deployments, ensuring alignment with partner SLAs, co-marketing requirements, and brand standards Define and refine joint value propositions in collaboration with Partner Management, Product Marketing, and Sales to deliver compelling, cloud-aligned messaging Own the channel strategy for hyperscaler programs, determining how to effectively activate campaigns across partner marketplaces, co-sell motions, and digital channels Collaborate with Field Marketing to align on flagship and regional events (including cloud partner events) to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline Drive execution readiness across multiple stakeholders, proactively removing blockers and ensuring campaigns launch on time and at scale Monitor and analyze campaign performance using KPIs such as MQL to Opportunity conversion, pipeline contribution, and ROI Influence partner-sourced pipeline through co-marketing programs, enablement, and referral motions Track and report on partner program performance and ROI, delivering insights and recommendations to stakeholders in pipeline reviews and QBRs Continuously test, learn, and optimize campaigns using data, AI tools, and automation platforms to improve targeting, engagement, and conversion Leverage AI-driven tools and personalization strategies to scale content, enhance partner targeting, and optimize campaign performance Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Partner Management, Revenue Marketing, and RevOps to ensure alignment with broader GTM strategies and KPIs Mentor and support team members by sharing best practices and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement What You'll Need to be Successful: 6–8 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in partner, channel, or ecosystem marketing Proven experience developing and executing partner-led campaigns that drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes Experience working with hyperscaler partners (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) Deep understanding of partner marketing motions, including co-sell, marketplace, MDF, and joint GTM planning Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Sales, Partner, Revenue Marketing, and Product Marketing teams to deliver integrated programs Hands-on experience with marketing and sales technology, including platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, and reporting tools like Power BI Experience using AI tools to scale content creation, improve targeting, and optimize campaign performance Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret funnel metrics, pipeline performance, and ROI to inform decisions Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail Effective communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability Avalara is an AI-first Company: AI is embedded in our workflows, decision-making, and products.
