Job Description

As a Senior Paid Search Analyst, you will lead the management and optimization of advanced paid search campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads, driving ROI and traffic through strategic, data-driven approaches. You will analyze performance metrics, implement optimizations, conduct A/B testing, and collaborate with account managers and clients to align campaigns with business goals. In addition to managing complex budgets and ensuring quality, you will mentor junior analysts, conduct QA, and facilitate cross-departmental training. With a focus on innovation and staying ahead of industry trends, you will play a critical role in delivering competitive, cutting-edge paid search solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns based on client goals and objectives.

Direct management of paid search accounts, with individual budgets ranging from $25k-$150k per account per month.

Collaborate closely with account managers on strategy, provide campaign performance and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Maintain performance standards on all assigned accounts

Monitor Budget Pacing, Conversion Tracking, and Traffic Quality

Monitor and analyze campaign performance such as click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, and return on ad spend (ROAS) to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Test products to determine propensity to drive positive results.

Generate regular reports to track campaign performance and communicate key findings.

Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, best practices to ensure our paid search strategies remain cutting-edge and competitive.

Facilitate Training for Associate Paid Search Analysts and Paid Search Analysts

Mentorship for New Paid Search Analysts

QA accounts for other members of the Paid Search Team

Oversight and Troubleshooting on Paid Search Accounts

Manage Portfolio wide performance and benchmarking

Facilitating cross departmental relationships and cross departmental trainings

Conducting A/B tests and developing new strategies or tools

Presenting Data To other departments

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience with paid search campaign management

Experience in healthcare, legal and/or medical verticals

Experience and strong understanding of PPC advertising

Experience using industry tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, SA360, etc.

Understand paid media advertising budget management and effective, data-driven ad spend.

Ability to analyze data sets and identify trends based on industry KPIs.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

Strong quantitative, analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret data and actionable insights.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, GMail, GChat)

Focuses on strategic planning and execution of campaigns aligned with client goals, using data-driven insights to optimize performance.

Demonstrates mentorship and leadership skills with experience in training and guiding junior team members.

Comprehensive, up-to-date understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging paid search tools to drive competitive strategies.

Demonstrates strong attention to detail in QA of paid search accounts while effectively troubleshooting and resolving campaign performance or setup issues.

Proficiency in managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads, with expertise in budget pacing, conversion tracking, traffic quality metrics, A/B testing, and performance analysis to identify optimization opportunities.

Demonstrates excellent communication skills to collaborate with account managers, departments, and clients, with experience presenting campaign data, insights, and recommendations to Account Managers and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Agency experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, ISDS, or equivalent experience

Google Certifications (Google Analytics, Google Ads)
