We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to support our growing team. You will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home. This is a 6‑month fixed term contract offering full‑time or part‑time hours (minimum 4 days per week) and we welcome applications from internal candidates across our national organisation. About you: Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience working in a variety of aged care services, including the community setting Demonstrated ability to assess Occupational Therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients Knowledge of wellness and re-ablement approaches and consumer directed care Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and unit management Highly developed leadership, interpersonal and team management skills Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilise required software Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work Current First Aid Certificate Registered vehicle with minimum of Third Party Property Damage or Comprehensive Insurance Current unrestricted drivers licence About us: We are proud to be part of the merged care organisation that will be known nationally as BaptistCare.
