About the Role
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking Senior Non-QM Loan Originators on behalf of a private real estate lender focused on residential bridge loans and ground-up construction financing. These fully remote positions are ideal for professionals located in North Carolina or those with a proven record of originating within the NC market.
The opportunity is designed for high-performing individuals who bring a commercial-style sales approach and an established, self-sourced book of business. Backed by institutional strength and operational infrastructure, this lending organization offers significant growth potential in a stable and well-capitalized environment.
Compensation: Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and documented production over the previous three years.
β’ Average Base Salary: Approximately $50,000
β’ Commission: Basis Point (BPS) structure
β’ On-Target Earnings (OTE): $140K+ expected in the first year
β’ Compensation Options: May include base + commission or commission-only, based on current earnings and preferred structure
β’ Additional Reimbursements: Travel and cell phone expenses
β’ Licensing Fees: Covered by the employer

Responsibilities
β’ Originate and close residential bridge loans and ground-up construction loans
β’ Develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and recurring client relationships
β’ Build and manage a pipeline of qualified borrowers
β’ Collect and organize borrower documentation and financials
β’ Monitor industry trends and conduct competitive market analysis
β’ Maintain high standards of client service and transaction quality
Qualifications
β’ Minimum 3 years of experience in bridge loans, DSCR, Fix & Flip, or ground-up construction financing
β’ Proven loan production averaging at least $2.5M per month over the past 12 months
β’ Valid NMLS license required
β’ Demonstrated ability to self-source business and maintain strong client relationships
β’ In-depth understanding of the North Carolina residential real estate market
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
β’ Goal-driven, proactive, and adaptable in a competitive sales environment
β’ Occasional travel may be required for training or company events
