This is the jobWe are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Engineer to join a long-term project supporting the Digital Giveaways product, a multi-brand digital vehicle brochure within an important amptomotive client. The goal is to continuously enhance performance, cost-efficiency, and release capabilities in a modern, cloud-based architecture.You will be part of a self-organized, cross-functional team working in an agile SAFe environment, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge digital experiences in the automotive industry.This is you Experience with agile methods Software development (e.g., Safe, Scrum, Kanban) Knowledge of modern architectural concepts such as micro-frontends, micro-services, and DDD Knowledge of Feature App technology, if applicableExpertise in modern web technologies and frameworks such as: Node.js, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, OAuth2/OIDC, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, CSS3, HTML5Experience with the cloud providers GCP and/or AWSTeam spirit, creativity, and enjoyment of project-related workNice-to-have skills:University or technical college degree with a focus on computer science, business informatics, or a comparable degree• Experience with software engineering best practices (design patterns, etc.)• Initial experience in serverless application development, e.g., with GCP Cloud Functions or AWS Lambda• Experience with test automation, UI testing, accessibility testing Performance Testing• Practical experience in implementing UI mockups/frontend styling• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions) in cloud-based environments• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Pulumi, CDK, or Terraform)• Experience with content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager)This is your roleFurther develop the Digital Giveaways product as a multi-brand solution.Collaborate to significantly improve system performance, cost efficiency, and release capability.Analyze, design, and implement user-friendly and innovative web applications based on modern technologies.Work with microservices, microfrontends, and single-page applications on GCP and AWS platforms.Apply Domain-Driven Design and agile methodologies to drive development.Embrace the DevOps mindset by supporting the full application lifecycle – "You build it, you run it".Ensure quality and sustainability in your code to contribute to long-term, future-proof solutions.We take pride in the diverse skills and character of our teams, welcoming everyone to apply and contribute to our collective strength.Originally posted on Himalayas
