Our world-class Product and Engineering teams delivered almost 1,000 new features last year. As one of our Senior Engineers, you’ll play a vital role in the continued acceleration of our product strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end development for .NET applications (including maintenance, extension, and new feature development)Identification and implementation of improvements to the existing applicationsDebugging and testing code, particularly for new features and enhancements, but also performing root cause analysis for application issuesTaking initiative by recommending improvements to the development process, proactively identifying application pain points and suggesting mitigation strategiesPerform peer reviews of code changesMaintain help documentation for new/updated featuresSharing knowledge and running training sessions for the support team for new featuresWork closely with business stakeholders within an agile environmentRole RequirementsExtensive experience as a .NET or .NET Core developer with C#Experience with SQL ServerExperience with agile methodologies and test-driven development techniquesStrong ability to communicate and collaborate with a dispersed multicultural teamKnowledge of the following (or similar) frameworks:NHibernate (or similar persistence or ORM framework such as Microsoft Entity Framework or Dapper)NUnit / XUnit (unit testing)Castle Windsor (or similar dependency injection/IoC framework, such as Autofaq or Ninject)Knockout, Vue.js (or similar JavaScript MVVM framework)Bonus (Nice to have)Experience in the Payroll domainAWS Cloud and tooling exposureWhat we can offerAt Employment Hero, we don’t just talk about a better way to work - we live it.
