Responsibilities • Deploy, configure, and maintain MySQL on RDS and EC2 • Architect high-availability, backup, and disaster-recovery solutions • Monitor and tune database performance; optimize queries and troubleshoot issues • Automate provisioning, patching, and scaling with CloudFormation and Terraform • Strong Linux administration skills and scripting (Bash, Python) • Collaborate with development and operations teams on schema design and CI/CD integration • Familiarity with other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) is a plus Requirements • 8+ years of experience as a MySQL DBA • Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field • Expertise in AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3, IAM) Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Comprehensive employee assistance program • 401(k) retirement plan • Paid time off and holidays • Paid learning days Apply tot his job
