Senior Mortgage Loan Processor

This candidate will be responsible for the entire end-to-end mortgage loan process. They will gather and process all loan documentation and ensure compliance with policy, regulatory, and loan terms. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of mortgage loans, from application to closing.

Responsibilities
• Manage assigned loan pipeline independently, ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines.
• Accurately and efficiently collect, verify, and analyze borrower documentation.
• Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting review, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders throughout the process.
• Resolve discrepancies and overcome processing challenges proactively.
• Maintain detailed loan files and documentation according to company standards.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proactively review loan files for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Identify and address potential issues early on to minimize delays.
• Ensure all documentation meets lender guidelines and underwriting requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processing procedures and quality control measures.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of the mortgage loan processing cycle.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in mortgage industry software and loan processing platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ethical and professional conduct.
• Previous experience with mortgage loan processing preferred
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loans
