Key Responsibilities Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers to resolve medical benefits-related issues. Conduct thorough medical benefits investigations to determine patient eligibility and coverage. Utilize computer skills for accurate and efficient data entry, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Gather and review patient billing and medical information to facilitate informed decision-making. Operate in accordance with Federal Health Care Program guidelines, adhering to the highest standards of compliance and ethics. Collaborate with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of patients, resolving issues and negotiating resolutions as needed. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: At least 1 year of experience in medical benefits (previous experience in a medical call center is a plus but not required). A high school diploma or equivalent. Residency in the state of Kentucky or surrounding cities. The ability to multitask and use dual monitors effectively. A positive and supportive attitude, with a willingness to help others. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus: Previous experience working in a medical call center environment. Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry operations and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
