The Job: Senior Manager, US Lending Acquisition & Portfolio Strategy
We are seeking a Senior Manager, US Lending Acquisition & Portfolio Strategy. This role owns the end-to-end acquisition and portfolio performance strategy for US lending products, driving originations growth while optimizing credit performance through data-driven insights, testing, and cross-functional execution.
What You'll Do
Product Development and Acquisition Strategy
ā¢ Own acquisition strategy across channels, including direct mail, digital, and affiliate
ā¢ Design and optimize test-and-learn frameworks to improve approval rates, CAC, and originations
ā¢ Partner with Risk to align acquisition strategy with credit performance targets
Performance Monitoring & Risk Management
ā¢ Own portfolio performance for all US lending products, delivering clear, actionable insights to senior business leaders
ā¢ Identify emerging risks, behavioral trends, customer needs, and operational signals across the customer journey
Strategic Insights & Thought Leadership
ā¢ Provide thought leadership on key topics such as the competitive landscape, market share, customer profile, macroeconomic trends, and product-specific performance
ā¢ Translate general business questions into analytic requirements and deliver meaningful insights and recommendations to solve business problems
Cross-Functional Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
ā¢ Act as the central point of coordination across Marketing, Retail, Risk, and Digital to track, monitor, and optimize acquisition performance, including campaigns, offers, and the application and onboarding funnel
ā¢ Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure changes meet policy, regulatory and control expectations
What You'll Bring to the Table
ā¢ Ability to understand and anticipate business needs and then independently execute
ā¢ The ability to effectively communicate analytically complex ideas into clear and concise insights and presentations
ā¢ Proven ability to lead projects, solve complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
ā¢ Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, and data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, etc.)
ā¢ Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to develop targeted data-driven insights in support of business objectives
Education + Experience
ā¢ 7+ years of experience in financial services, lending, portfolio management, or product strategy roles . Experiences with direct mail and affiliate marketing with Installment Loans is a strong plus
ā¢ Strong experience in high-exposure executive communication (written/verbal)
ā¢ Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
