Lead the development and execution of strategic plans for Aetna, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze key market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic plans.
Conduct in-depth research and data analysis to identify growth opportunities and recommend actionable solutions.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to gather insights and support the implementation of strategic plans.
Monitor and track progress of strategic initiatives and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Lead the creation of business cases and presentations to support strategic recommendations.
Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the strategic planning process.
Utilize strong leadership skills to effectively manage and develop a team of strategic planners.
Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of strategic plans across the organization.
Communicate and present strategic plans and progress updates to various stakeholders, including senior leadership, board members, and external partners.
Continuously assess and adapt strategic plans to evolving market conditions and business needs.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and accountability.
Represent Aetna in external meetings and conferences to promote the company's strategic initiatives and vision.
Maintain a strong understanding of Aetna's products, services, and competitive advantages to inform strategic planning decisions.
