Position Kueski is seeking a Design Lead to build mobile-first design strategies and systems for the Kueski App and mobile experiences. This role is ideal for a hands-on product design leader with a track record of taking 0 to 1 mobile products from concept to launch and scaling them with cross-functional partners. As a key leader reporting to the Head of Design, you will translate company vision into best practices and actionable goals, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, and raise the bar for design excellence across our product ecosystem in LATAM FinTech. Key Responsibilities Design Strategy & Excellence • Influence and collaborate with company leadership to establish a standard of design excellence across our product ecosystem. • Lead innovation for the design of the Kueski App and mobile experiences. • Translate company vision into best practices and actionable goals, and ensure the product design team is equipped for success. • Proactively anticipate future opportunities and challenges in the realm of user experience. • Contribute to fostering a culture of excellence, maintaining velocity without sacrificing design rigor. User-Obsessed, Evidence-Based Innovation • Collaborate in shaping Kueski’s overall product strategy based on comprehensive, trusted design research and ideation. • Drive creative ideation to enhance customer discovery, onboarding, account creation, KYC, and core transactional experiences through evidence-based insights. • Represent Kueski’s brand, mission, and values through user-centric design. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery • Collaborate with key partners (Research, Engineering, Leadership, Operations, Legal, Facilities, etc.) to support new and ongoing projects. • Ability to make informed decisions quickly while addressing the needs of multiple stakeholders. Team Leadership & Culture • Build, mentor, and lead a diverse team of world-class design practitioners. • Foster a culture of excellence, growth, and collaboration within the product design team. Job Requirements • 8+ years of leading impactful mobile design teams and products. • Demonstrated leadership in mobile product design and collaboration at both team and organizational levels. • Highly skilled with web and mobile technologies and software. • Ability to make informed decisions quickly while addressing the needs of multiple stakeholders. • Experience in hiring, managing, and developing product designers in a software company. • Strong communication skills tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences. • English fluency, Spanish is nice to have.
