Senior Manager Finance Accounting
We are searching a Senior Manager level accounting & finance professional for a fully remote interim opportunity with a publicly traded biotech company.
This role will lead the finance and accounting functions critical to the firm's commercial operations and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and transparency of revenue recognition and forecasting, gross-to-net estimates and actuals variances, inventory valuation and reserves, and related month-end close process.
Responsibilities:
• Gross-to-net (GTN) accounting and variance analysis
• Revenue recognition (ASC 606)
• Inventory valuation and reserves
• Month-end close oversight and financial reporting
• FP&A — forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
• SOX compliance and internal controls
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Prior experience in a commercial-stage public biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences company is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, gross-to-net (GTN) accounting, and inventory valuation and reserves.
