Senior Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategies for Amazon and Shopify sales focused supply chain optimization, focusing on inventory control, international logistics, and demand planning, and procurement processes.
• Coordinate international freight shipments from overseas suppliers to Amazon FBA, AWD, and U.S. warehouses.
• Oversee inbound inventory deliveries to Amazon FBA, AWD, and 3PL warehouses, ensuring proper labeling and compliance with requirements.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple sales channels including Amazon, Shopify, and other marketplaces.
• Manage importation paperwork, customs clearance processes, and communication with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• Prepare and submit purchase orders to overseas suppliers.
• Troubleshoot shipment delays, warehouse errors, and fulfillment issues as they arise.
• Partner with Sales and Operations teams to provide updates on shipment status, lead times, and inventory health.
• Manage logistics operations by coordinating transportation schedules, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and products.
• Support inventory management efforts through regular audits, cycle counts, and implementing inventory control best practices aligned with lean principles.
Skills & Experience Required
• Strong working knowledge of Amazon FBA, AWD, AGL, international import procedures, and 3PLs.
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in supply chain analytics.
• Experience working with freight booking platforms, customs documentation, Incoterms, and inventory tracking software.
• Knowledge of process improvement frameworks such as Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and Kaizen.
• Expertise in demand planning, production scheduling (MRP), procurement (purchasing), inventory management and control.
• Familiarity with logistics operations including transportation planning and warehouse management.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis to identify issues within manufacturing or supply chain processes.
