Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences, and we're looking for a talented Senior Level Accountant to help us achieve our goals.As a Senior Level Accountant with our firm, you'll play a critical role in reviewing staff bookkeeper work, preparing journal entries, performing full month-end closes, and assisting our CFO with high-level accounting projects for clients. You'll also have the opportunity to work with QuickBooks Online and utilize your expertise to review and correct financial statements as needed.Key Responsibilities• Review and correct financial statements as needed, including performing full month-end closes• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close processes• Assist the CFO with high-level accounting projects for clients• Perform sales tax filings and other accounting tasks as required• Review and provide feedback on staff bookkeeper work• Respond to and address client concerns and matters quickly and efficiently via email• Meet deadlines on time, all the timeEssential QualificationsExperience• 7+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience• 5+ years of senior-level accountant experienceCertifications & Education• QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certified (required)• Accounting degree or certification (preferred)Skills & Competencies• Excellent prior working references• Ability to respond to and address client concerns and matters quickly and efficiently via email• Ability to meet deadlines on time, all the time• Available time during business working hours as needed• Clean background checkWhat We OfferCompensation & BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of $35-$38 per hour, with the potential to build your hours and client portfolio over time.
