No C2C No Consultancy / Third-Party Resumes No Contract Roles Job Summary We are seeking a Senior / Lead Azure Data Engineer with 10–14+ years of overall experience, including strong MNC experience in India, for a long-term full-time role in Texas. Candidates open to relocating to Texas will be given first priority. This role requires hands-on technical depth along with technical leadership, including design ownership, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration for enterprise-scale Azure data platforms. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise Azure data platforms • Architect and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure-native services • Define data engineering standards, best practices, and frameworks • Develop and optimize solutions using batch and real-time data processing • Oversee data ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality frameworks • Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and scalability improvements • Collaborate with architects, BI teams, data scientists, and business leaders • Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across platforms • Review code, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance • Participate in solution design, sprint planning, and release management • Support production deployments and critical issue resolution Required Technical Skills Azure Data & Analytics Services • Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Azure Synapse Analytics • Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) • Azure Databricks (PySpark / Spark SQL) • Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance • Azure Functions, Logic Apps Programming & Big Data • Python (expert level) • SQL (advanced performance tuning) • PySpark / Spark SQL • Scala (good to have) Data Engineering & Architecture • ETL / ELT design and implementation • Data Warehousing & Lakehouse architecture • Dimensional modeling (Star / Snowflake) • Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) • Metadata management and data lineage Streaming & Messaging • Azure Event Hubs • Azure Stream Analytics • Kafka (preferred) DevOps, CI/CD & IaC • Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines) • CI/CD for data pipelines • Infrastructure as Code: ARM, Bicep, Terraform • Git version control Security & Governance • Azure Active Directory • RBAC, Managed Identities • Data encryption and access controls • Azure Purview / Microsoft Purview BI & Analytics (Nice to Have) • Power BI (datasets, semantic models) • Integration with reporting and analytics layers Leadership & Soft Skills • Technical leadership and solution ownership • Mentoring and guiding data engineers • Strong stakeholder and client interaction • Architecture and design documentation • Agile / Scrum delivery experience Candidate Requirements • 10–14+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering • Mandatory MNC experience in India • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Azure data platforms • Strong communication and leadership skills • Willingness to relocate to Texas (preferred) • Available for long-term full-time employment Important Notes • This is a direct full-time role only • Consultancy, staffing, or C2C profiles will not be considered • Candidates requiring current or future visa sponsorship cannot be supported Apply tot his job
