Senior Java Developer with Azure (15+ Years Experience) Location: New Jersey / New York (Onsite | Local or open to relocate preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time (W2 Only) Work Authorization: H4 EAD, L2S, GC EAD, Green Card, US Citizen Job Description We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Java Developer with strong Azure cloud expertise to design, build, and modernize enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Core Java, Spring ecosystem, microservices, and Azure-native services, and will play a key role in architecture, performance optimization, and cloud transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Architect, design, and develop scalable Java-based enterprise applications. • Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST APIs. • Lead cloud-native application development and migration on Microsoft Azure. • Design secure, high-performance backend services and integrations. • Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams in Agile environments. • Optimize application performance, scalability, and resilience. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. • Conduct code reviews, mentor senior/junior developers, and enforce coding standards. • Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis. • Contribute to technical roadmaps and enterprise architecture decisions. Required Technical Skills Backend & Java Stack: • 15+ years of experience in Java / J2EE development • Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, OOP • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Cloud • RESTful & SOAP APIs, Microservices Architecture • Hibernate / JPA, Maven / Gradle Cloud & Azure: • Microsoft Azure: App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB • Azure Storage, Key Vault, API Management • Experience with cloud migration and modernization Databases & Messaging: • Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL • NoSQL: MongoDB / Cosmos DB • Messaging: Kafka / Azure Service Bus / Event Hubs DevOps & Tools: • Docker, Kubernetes (AKS preferred) • CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions • Git, GitHub/GitLab • Monitoring & logging tools Testing & Practices: • JUnit, Mockito, Postman, Swagger • Strong understanding of SDLC, design patterns, security, and performance tuning Preferred Qualifications • Experience with event-driven and distributed systems • Exposure to Reactive programming (Spring WebFlux) • Domain experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Telecom • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Note (Strictly Enforced) No C2C submissions, consultancy resumes, or marketing profiles.
