• *About The Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at DSM-H LLC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, system integration, and cloud technologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams within an Agile environment, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in Java programming, cloud deployment, and API development, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently. • *Qualifications**

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have at least 8 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 6 years in Java programming, and extensive experience working within cloud environments, particularly AWS. Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications using modern architectural patterns such as microservices and event-driven architectures is essential. Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and API development and testing tools. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment are also essential.
• *Responsibilities
• Participate actively in Agile teams, engaging in Scrum ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and demos to ensure seamless project execution.
• Design, develop, test, and debug complex software programs independently, ensuring high quality and adherence to specifications.
• Configure and customize purchased software solutions, managing high-complexity integrations to meet client needs.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members in project management, programming, system administration, and troubleshooting activities.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex application and technical problems, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls as necessary.
• Develop major system modules, programs, or infrastructure components based on detailed requirements gathered from system users and stakeholders.
• Perform comprehensive testing, including integrated and customer acceptance testing, to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of relevant programming languages, system analysis techniques, and documentation standards to ensure best practices are followed.
• Conduct integration tasks for in-house developed systems and purchased hardware/software, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility.
• Assist customers with documentation, training, and usability initiatives to facilitate effective system adoption and utilization.
• Engage with team members and other departments to ensure project alignment and successful delivery of solutions.
