Senior IT Project Manager (Remote)
About the position
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing complex projects for the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role involves overseeing enterprise-wide corporate initiatives with budgets exceeding $5 million and managing multiple stakeholder groups using Agile methodology to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
Ā Actively plans and manages large scale Waterfall or Agile projects around scheduled program increments and milestones, scope, cost, resource health, and risks.

Ā Collaborates with stakeholders in key meetings to ensure successful project delivery.

Ā Plans and owns project finances, including timing implications and key payment dates, while proactively reporting status and fulfilling project analysis requests.

Ā Leads vendor selection and procurement activities under program manager guidance, ensuring project success through resource and go-live operational plans.

Ā Prepares key documents, presents business cases, and produces reports while collaborating with stakeholders during project funding conversations.
Requirements
Ā Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related discipline, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

Ā 5 years' experience leading projects in a cross-functional, technical systems implementation.

Ā Strong financial management ability, including comprehension of project financials and budget management.
,
Ā Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ā Ability to lead in a matrixed environment and meet established deadlines.
