Key Responsibilities Provide complex specialized examination and support for mainframe security in a large, complex Multi-LPAR RACF environment using RRSF (RACF Remote Sharing Facility), zSecure, RACF/DB2, and CICS. Work with internal and end-client faculties to define custom access rules, reporting, alerting, and data gathering as required. Participate in the research, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of complex computer security/protection technologies for company data and systems/applications. Perform periodic detailed assessments of the operating system and infrastructure components' security configuration to identify security weaknesses and provide remediation options. Take part in the evaluation of vendor proposals, new and existing security plans, and emerging security technologies and systems. Lead or assist senior specialists in researching, analyzing, designing, testing, and implementing security solutions using a Wells Fargo methodology. Assist in computer security incident response activities and technical investigations of security-related incidents. Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 4+ years of Data Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. 4+ years of experience in data security applications and systems. 4+ years of mainframe security risk assessment and remediation experience. 4+ years of mainframe server security experience using native z/operating system and RACF tools. 4+ years of experience giving RACF commands and performing troubleshooting. 4+ years of JCL (Job Control Language) experience. 4+ years of TSO (Time Sharing Options) experience. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you should have: zSecure tool experience. Active security engineering experience in a multi-hub RRSF, complex z/operating system environment. REXX and/or scripting coding experience. Advanced Data Security technical skills and understanding of data security practices and procedures. The ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
