Senior Information Security Analyst - Reporting and Analytics

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Senior Information Security Analyst - Reporting and Analytics to join our Information Security team at H-E-B. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for understanding, reporting, and analyzing various security issues and will have significant experience in data security, network security, and security systems management. The successful candidate will possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders of varying levels. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field and will possess the following qualifications: • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related field• Understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, and encryption• Knowledge of network and application security principles, standards, and best practices• Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain security policies and procedures• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentIf you are passionate about protecting data and network security and have the qualifications outlined above, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
Analyze various security issues and identify potential risks.
Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Monitor security systems for any potential threats or breaches.
Perform regular data security audits and report findings.
Test and deploy security systems.
Liaise with stakeholders to communicate complex security concepts.
Assist with the development and implementation of security protocols.
Assist in training and educating users on security best practices.
Stay up to date with the latest security technologies and trends.
