Senior Immigration Paralegal- Business and Humanitarian/Family

We are a growing law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services in the field of virtual business immigration. Our team is committed to delivering top-notch solutions to our clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision and efficiency. As we continue to expand our practice, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
β’ Manage a diverse caseload across business and humanitarian matters; keep files organized, calendars current, and deadlines on track.
β’ Prepare forms, evidence packets, and attorney ready drafts; file electronically or by mail; monitor USCIS case statuses and follow up.
β’ Communicate with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders with clarity, empathy, and urgency; deliver timely updates and proactive issue-spotting.
β’ Maintain confidentiality and data integrity; use MyCase and Docketwise to track tasks and progress.
β’ Prepare Iβ130, Iβ485, Iβ765, Iβ864 and supporting affidavits; draft U/T/VAWA filings and parole requests.
β’ Draft client declarations and country-conditions summaries; gather, organize, and analyze evidence (relationship, abuse, hardship).
β’ Translate documents ENβES and conduct targeted legal research and memos for case strategy.
β’ Handle employment-based matters (as applicable to experience), including EB1A, NIW, E1/E2, H1B, PERM, O1, L1A/L1B, TN, R.
β’ Draft/prepare petitions and exhibits (letters, expert evaluations, wage/role docs) with meticulous attention to detail; monitor RFE deadlines.
β’ Research regulations and policy guidance; identify risks and alternative pathways early and propose solutions.
Requirements
β’ 5-8 years as an immigration paralegal with hands-on experience in humanitarian/family and business immigration in a law firm setting.
β’ Bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent written/oral communication in both.
β’ Mastery of immigration forms, evidence standards, and filing practices; strong organization and deadline discipline across multiple matters.
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MyCase, and Docketwise; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
