We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Growth Marketer to lead our growth initiatives. This isn't just about running campaigns; it's about pioneering new growth avenues and significantly expanding our market footprint. You'll be instrumental in accelerating user acquisition and driving the overall growth strategy for Moneytree Business, our financial management SaaS, purpose-built for small to medium businesses (SMBs).This role requires a unique blend of marketing savvy and a keen eye for how data-driven strategies can unlock significant growth. Your mission is clear: enhance our value proposition for users while driving substantial user growth across the entire user journey within this vital sector.At Moneytree, our mission is to unleash the power of data by providing the tools capabilities needed, by reducing or removing barriers, and by delivering meaningful value today. Our technology is used by major banks, accounting software companies and fintech companies in Japan. Key clients include Mizuho, SMBC, and Japan Post Bank.In this role you willDevelop and execute comprehensive growth strategies tailored for the SMB market, encompassing acquisition, activation, retention, and referral.Identify and deeply understand the financial challenges and aspirations of small business owners, translating these insights into compelling marketing messages and product improvements.Design and run experimental marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital advertising, content marketing, partnerships, community engagement, webinars, direct outreach) to discover scalable growth levers.Leverage data and analytics to continuously monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize spend and improve ROI.Collaborate closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to ensure a cohesive user journey and to champion features that address SMB needs and drive adoption.Explore and establish strategic partnerships with organizations, associations, and influencers within the SMB ecosystem to expand our reach and build credibility.Develop and refine our messaging and value proposition to resonate effectively with diverse segments of small businesses.Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes related to Open Banking and the SMB financial landscape.In the first 90 days your expected deliverables will includeImmerse yourself in Moneytree Business: Gain a deep understanding of our product features, technology stack (especially Open Banking integration), current user base, and the unique challenges faced by our SMB customers.Audit current growth channels and performance: Conduct a comprehensive review of existing marketing campaigns, user acquisition funnels, and data analytics. Identify immediate areas for optimization and quick wins.Build key relationships: Connect with core stakeholders across Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to understand their roadmaps, challenges, and how growth marketing can best support their objectives.Develop initial hypotheses and a testing roadmap: Based on your initial analysis, propose a set of data-driven hypotheses for new growth experiments and outline a clear plan for testing them.Launch your first growth experiment: Implement and analyze at least one high-impact growth experiment to demonstrate immediate value and set the tone for data-driven iteration.Qualifications5+ years of progressive experience in Growth Marketing roles, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS or FinTech products.Proven track record of driving measurable user acquisition and revenue growth through data-driven strategies and experimentation.Deep understanding of the SMB market, including their unique needs, challenges, and digital behaviors.Expertise in various growth channels, including but not limited to paid acquisition (SEM, Social), SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and product-led growth strategies.Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) and A/B testing methodologies.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Engineering).Highly creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for discovering new growth opportunities and challenging the status quo.Experience in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).BenefitsFull time role, working remotely from anywhere in Japan.Referral bonus 250,000 JPY per successful hire.Communication allowance (10,000 JPY/month).Remote work allowance (3000 JPY/month).20 annual paid leave.10 annual sick and care leave.Health and social insurance support.Ability to work from overseas for short periods.Learning support.Originally posted on Himalayas
