In this role, you’ll support the administration of global benefits, leave programs, and immigration matters, ensuring a seamless employee experience across the USA, Canada, and India. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and a strong individual contributor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of key HR operations processes, work cross-functionally, and drive impact at scale.What You’ll Do:Benefits Administration:Primarily responsible for the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits in the USA, Canada, and IndiaProcess benefits enrollments, changes, and terminationsLiaise with insurance brokers, carriers, and retirement plan vendors to troubleshoot enrollment and coverage issuesServe as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and escalate complex issues as neededManage the company retirement plans in USA, Canada and IndiaPartner with external 401k auditor to drive compliance with plan requirements and successful completion of annual auditLead the benefits open enrollment processesFacilitate a company-wide wellness programEnsure COBRA events are triggered and managed as designedOwn completion of ERISA compliance reporting requirementsAdminister and troubleshoot FSA accounts access and fundingReconcile benefit invoices and submit them for paymentLeave Administration:Collect documentation for federally and state-mandated leaves in the USA, Canada, and India and present to the HR Manager for review and approvalAct as the main point of contact for employees regarding leave optionsTrack leave balancesControl system access during leave periodsCoordinate communications with employees on leave regarding their returnHR Operations Support:Support HR Operations team members with miscellaneous needs such as employment verifications, report requests, etc.Serve as backup for regulatory reporting, troubleshooting HRIS issues, employee onboarding and offboarding, and background check processingWork Visa Sponsorships:Liaise between our immigration attorney and internal stakeholders on completing visa renewals and green card applications;Monitor timelines, review drafts of documents and procure required signatures to ensure visa processes are moving smoothly and swiftlyLearning Management:Conduct new hire orientations in USA, Canada and IndiaPrepare “how to” tutorials (Loom, PDF) detailing every day HR functions for employees (how to enter my performance review, how to approve my team’s time off etc);Administer and promote a learning management system to enhance the skillset base across the organization;Facilitate registrations for management approved trainings if neededWhat You’ll Bring:Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detailProven ability to own processes end-to-end and execute independentlyAbility to manage multiple tasks and work across global teamsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with HR systems (HRIS, benefits platforms, LMS tools), including experience with Rippling preferredAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred4+ years of experience in HR Operations, benefits, or leave administrationExperience supporting global teams (USA, Canada, India) is a mustHow We Work: Our Operating PrinciplesOur Operating Principles are the blueprint of Real’s culture.
