Senior Gameplay Engineer (Remote) - $32/Hour
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our team at Spry Fox, a renowned game development studio and a part of Netflix. As a Senior Gameplay Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining gameplay and content systems, as well as data-driven tooling in Unreal Engine, with a focus on the instant-to-instant or "game-feel" aspects of the project.
In this role, you will work closely with the design team and the rest of the engineering group to translate designs into polished player experiences and high-performance client and server code. If you have a passion for creating engaging and immersive gameplay experiences, and a strong background in C++ programming and Unreal Engine, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
Build and maintain gameplay and content systems, as well as data-driven tooling in Unreal Engine
Work closely with the design team and the rest of the engineering group to translate designs into polished player experiences
Develop high-performance client and server code
Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
Requirements:
Strong C++ programming and debugging skills
Experience with Unreal Engine and a deep understanding of game engine components and architecture
Proven track record of shipping multiplayer projects
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
Nice to Have:
Animation programming experience
Experience building data-driven tooling in collaboration with designers
Live service development experience
Experience with automated testing
