Explore our social media and check out our YouTube channel where we share behind-the-scenes insights and stories direct from our team members!Job DescriptionCD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer - Combat to join our team to work on Project Sirius - an original video game combining beloved aspects of The Witcher world with immersive multiplayer gameplay.In this role you will collaborate with our team working in Unreal Engine 5 to build new mechanics and features to generate compelling gameplay. You’ll be in charge of defining, building, and maintaining the core system of character ability management.Daily Responsibilities:Work closely with designers and animators to fulfill the vision of the gameBuild and maintain solid and flexible gameplay systems that work in both singleplayer and multiplayer.Write high-quality code that is optimized, bug-free, and aligned with project goals.QualificationsAt least 10 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry.Proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine.Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges and drive innovation in technology.Extensive multiplayer experience.Knowledge of game engine architecture and algorithms.Thorough multi-threaded programming skills.Excellent communication skills: We have a multilingual and multicultural working environment and the ability to communicate across language and time zone barriers is essential.Nice to have:Shipped at least one Unreal-based project for Xbox, Playstation consoles.Experience using GASAdditional InformationThis job can be hybrid/in-office from Boston or fully remote from anywhere in USA or Canada.
