⢠As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting multiple venture capital firms, acting as a trusted financial partner to their General Partners (GPs).
⢠This role involves regular, in-depth consultations with GPs to thoroughly understand their unique financial accounting needs and operational challenges.
⢠You will be responsible for assessing current financial processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to streamline and optimize accounting workflows.
⢠A key aspect of your responsibility will be to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting and accounting services, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

⢠You will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, capital calls, distributions, and other fund-related reporting for a portfolio of venture capital funds.
⢠Perform complex reconciliations of capital accounts, investment portfolios, and cash balances.
⢠Ensure compliance with fund agreements, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
⢠Assist with the audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
⢠Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients (GPs), serving as their primary point of contact for all accounting-related matters.
⢠Proactively identify and address any accounting or operational issues, offering practical and effective solutions.
⢠Contribute to the continuous improvement of our fund accounting processes and methodologies, leveraging technology and best practices.

Requirements
⢠Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in fund accounting, with a significant focus on venture capital or private equity funds.
⢠Strong understanding of GAAP, fund structures, partnership accounting, capital calls, distributions, and financial reporting.
⢠Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills; experience with specialized fund accounting platforms is a plus.
⢠Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
⢠Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with clients (GPs) and internal teams.
