Senior Fullstack Developer (PHP & Vue.js)

RemoteStar is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer (PHP & Vue.js) on behalf of our client in the United Kingdom. About Role - Senior Full Stack Developer (PHP & Vue.js) A UK-based company founded in 2012 for UK movers to compare and connect with moving industry professionals. Location - Cardiff, UK As Senior Full Stack Developer you will: • Be responsible for extending the B2B dashboard to provide more autonomy to clients • Be part of team extending the internal CRM to aid the partner support team • Upgrading stack • Consolidating build tools Writing a new suite of tests • Translating a brief into a robust and well architected system. • Be able to provide leadership and guidance for the developers tasked to the project. • Ensure development best practices are followed (Clean Code, Clean Architecture, code reviews) • Actively communicate with the stakeholders, team members, and clients What do we value • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product • Training, coaching and mentoring developers • Symfony or a similar framework • VueJS or similar • Strong understanding of MySQL and ORMs • Familiar with integrating APIs Best working practices and documentation • Build tools (Webpack or similar) Automated testing • Strong experience with GIT version control Experience with HTML, SCSS and JavaScript • Familiar with package managers e.g. Composer/NPM • Comfortable working with existing codebases • Comfortable identifying and squashing bugs • Excellent communication skills • High attention to details What do we offer? • Participate in open, fun, entrepreneurial, and creative company culture and work with unique and innovative clients. • Be part of a global, distributed organisation with international opportunities.
