This organization is a 1,000+ person software-based 3rd party Logistics company that is stable & growing. They're one of the leading innovators in building technology that streamlines operations for both shippers and carriers. They have several focused engineering teams, but the team you'd be joining is a "special projects" focused team tasked with solving high-value problems with creativity & urgency to deliver massive business value quickly & with quality. You'll work in modern full-stack JavaScript (React, Node/Express), building out RESTful APIs for new applications to pilot for the rest of the engineering departments.
Not only will you work on great projects with modern technology, you'll have the opportunity to work with an excellent manager and build out a culture. The hiring manager has built highly successful teams in the past and recently joined the org from DocuSign. He also runs a React meetup! This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-run team and make a huge impact.
Qualifications:
5+ years of Software Development experience
Proficient knowledge of full-stack JavaScript (React, Node/Express)
Skilled in programming and writing RESTful APIs
Practiced in testing with JS testing frameworks
Fast learner, who can take initiative/complete work without needing guidance from more Senior team members
