You will contribute across the entire stack — from elegant front-end interfaces to resilient back-end services — collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and designers.You will work with modern languages, frameworks, and tools such as JavaScript, TypeScript, VueJS, NestJS, PostgreSQL, AWS, and more. This role is hands-on, and you will directly influence the quality, performance, and reliability of our systems. What You’ll DoSystem Design & DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems.Build front-end and back-end applications using VueJS, NestJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.Optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.Automation & OptimizationDevelop automation to streamline engineering and business workflows.Integrate APIs and third-party tools to reduce manual processes and improve system efficiency.Integration & API DevelopmentDesign and develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs.Integrate and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and work with NoSQL databases where appropriate.Apply architectural patterns such as CQRS when suitable.Testing & TroubleshootingApply test-driven development and rigorous unit and integration testing using tools such as Jest or equivalent frameworks.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth deployments and minimal downtime.Collaboration & DocumentationWork closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features aligned with business and user needs.Write clear documentation for codebases, integrations, and troubleshooting processes.Continuous ImprovementStay current with trends in software engineering, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.Proactively contribute to improving development workflows, system architecture, and product quality.What We're Looking ForThe Technical Side5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of building and maintaining scalable systems.Proven experience with:JavaScript, TypeScript, VueJS, NodeJS, NestJSCSS, HTML, and modern web development practicesRESTful API designPostgreSQL and relational database designStrong SQL skillsFamiliarity with NoSQL databasesBuilding fault-tolerant, distributed systemsApplying CQRS, data structures, algorithms, and design patternsExperience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest.Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred, but Google Cloud and Azure also valued).Familiarity with Docker and Git in day-to-day workflows.Experience with UX design and developing complex user interactions within UI-based products.Experience in library design Bonus points - GitHub profile or link to open source workThe Personal SideYou care deeply about code quality — readability, simplicity, and maintainability are non-negotiable.
