Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: Remote (EU/UK preferred) Team: Engineering Type: Full-time, Contractor About the Role Aguru is an agentic AI automation platform for SaaS businesses, bringing together agents, workflows, and communication tools into one unified system. As our first Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll be an early key player in our small, high-impact team. You'll own critical parts of the product architecture, working across the stack to deliver scalable, performant, and user-friendly features. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our platform and bring complex automation capabilities to life by collaborating closely with product, design, and AI engineering. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain core application features in Next.js. Develop robust APIs and server components. Work on Supabase (PostgreSQL) data models, queries, and role-based access policies. Implement responsive, accessible, and maintainable UIs with React, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui. Integrate with AI and automation frameworks (Mastra, Vercel AI SDK, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Playwright). Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of the platform. Experience Required: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development. Strong expertise in React and Next.js. Proficiency in TypeScript. Solid experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Supabase) and ORMs. Knowledge of API design and modern state management (TanStack Query or similar). Understanding of authentication/authorization flows. Familiarity with automated testing and debugging complex workflows. The following is a plus: Experience with AI/LLM integrations (OpenAI, Google Gemini, or similar). Experience with LLM prompt engineering. Previous experience in SaaS platforms or workflow automation tools. Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
