The role involves building and maintaining the Shopify landscape, level up performance, and driving innovation. Requirements Develop reactive, low-barrier-frontends in TypeScript + React/Next.js, including SSR/ISR, Edge Rendering and Image optimization. Work with Shopify: Storefront & Admin GraphQL APIs, Checkout Extensibility, Theme App Extensions, Webhooks, Hydrogen/Remix. Build Shop Integrations: Analytics, CDP/CRM (e.g. Klaviyo), ERP/WMS, PIM, Shipping, Loyalty. Performance optimization for Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), Code-Splitting, Bundle Budget, Caching & CDN. Test execution & quality maintenance: Unit/Integration/E2E, Typesetting meticulously, CI/CD-Gates. Data-driven decisions: A/B testing, Experiment design, Define metrics (Conversion Funnel, Retention, RUM). Ensure adherence to Security & Compliance: OWASP best practices, Secrets hygiene, GDPR, Consent Flows.
