Senior Frontend Engineer (Extensions, Plugins & High-Performance Interfaces)
Summary About the Role We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who can build exceptional user experiences and architect reliable, scalable browser-based solutions. You will work across modern frameworks like React and Next.js while also owning the development of browser extensions, embedded widgets, and plug-and-play UI components that integrate seamlessly into partner environments. Key Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain browser extensions (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and embeddable widgets/plugins. Build high-quality, responsive interfaces using React 18, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern UI libraries (Tailwind, Shadcn). Architect reusable component systems, design systems, and internal libraries to accelerate engineering velocity. Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, improving performance, caching, and state management. Collaborate with product/design teams to create seamless UX while maintaining code scalability and future-proofing. Debug browser-specific issues, optimize bundle sizes, and improve load times via advanced performance strategies. Lead code reviews, maintain best practices, and drive technical decisions across the frontend ecosystem. Work cross-functionally to build partner-facing tools such as iframe widgets, plugins, and embeddable modules. Required Experience 5–7+ years of professional frontend development experience. Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML5, and CSS3. Hands-on experience building: Browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) Plugins / embeddable widgets / iframe integrations Modular component systems Experience with state management, caching strategies, and performance optimization. Strong understanding of Webpack/Vite bundling, code-splitting, lazy loading, and build pipelines. Familiarity with backend frameworks (Node.js, Express, Nest.js, FastAPI, tRPC). Experience working with Postgres, Prisma, MongoDB, or similar databases. Strong debugging skills across browsers, devices, and production environments. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and ship polished, production-ready UI.
