Senior Fire Investigator
We are currently seeking a qualified hands-on dedicated Certified Fire Investigator to conduct fire/explosion origin and cause investigations of commercial, institutional, high-rise and residential buildings, heavy and farm equipment, vehicles and boats. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, exemplary investigative skills and expertise, and must be familiar with NFPA 921. Preferred candidates will have expert witness testimony experience and a proven track record in conducting fire origin and cause investigations for the private sector. Responsibilities • Determine the origin and cause of fires and explosions. • Conduct field inspections to document onsite conditions. • Prepare and provide oral and written reports. • Provide expert witness testimony. • 50/50 field work and office duties. Qualifications • IAAI-CFI • NAFI-CFEI • Familiar with NFPA 921 • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Experience performing O&C investigations Apply tot his job
