Senior Financial Analyst - Remote, Global Operations

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic, fully remote finance team. This role is crucial for supporting strategic decision-making across our global operations. You will be responsible for in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, providing actionable insights to senior management. Key Responsibilities: Conduct complex financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business planning and investment decisions. Develop and maintain rolling financial forecasts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections. Prepare detailed variance analyses, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions. Assist in the annual budgeting process, working closely with various departments to consolidate financial plans. Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports for executive leadership, highlighting performance trends and key financial metrics. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to address specific business questions and opportunities. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the finance function and across the organization. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance. Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting. Support the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and tools. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across different business units and geographies. Present financial findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, macros) and financial modeling techniques. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts effectively. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.
