Senior Financial Analyst - Fully Remote

A Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for gathering, evaluating, and interpreting financial information, as well as creating reports, financial models, presentations, and strategic recommendations for leadership and stakeholders. Working with minimal oversight, this role frequently collaborates with project managers, operational leaders, and finance teams, contributes to complex initiatives, and produces outcomes that significantly influence operational performance. Essential Job Function • Ensures financial reports are accurate, evaluates and interprets results across multiple divisions, and offers strategic recommendations to divisional finance leaders to support informed decision-making. • Develops new tools to meet customer and departmental needs. • Offers recommendations aimed at increasing net revenue or identifying opportunities to optimize and better utilize expenses. • Develops system procedures, documents standards, maintains records, and reconciles all calculations and data to the general ledger and other financial records in a timely manner. • Maintains in-depth expertise in financial systems and acts as a resource to help others understand and interpret the reports generated from these tools. • Pursues automated processes to increase efficiency and eliminate non-value added tasks. • Contributes to ongoing improvement efforts by creating pro formas, schedules, analyses, and actionable recommendations that enable leaders to make decisions aligned with organizational goals. • Educates end users on financial software and financial concepts through one on one and small and large group classroom training. • Performs other duties as assigned. Education • Required: Bachelor's Degree Experience • Required: 5+ Years Licensure/Certification/Listing • Required: Department/role specific certification may be required. Required certification programs may include HFMA CHFP, CPA, or other certification programs defined by the department leader
