Senior Financial Analyst, Capital Markets

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic remote team. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for forecasting, valuation, and strategic planning. Conduct thorough analysis of financial results, identifying key drivers and deviations from budget or forecast. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive leadership. Monitor and analyze capital markets trends and their implications for the company. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support business initiatives. Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Evaluate investment opportunities and support capital allocation decisions. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, or capital markets. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Experience with financial modeling software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and valuation techniques. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. Proven track record of delivering accurate and timely financial analysis. This role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, US , but is a fully remote position.
