We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team at Galileo Financial Technologies , a subsidiary of SoFi Technologies, and a market leader in the payment processing and BaaS sectors. In this role, you will own and drive key expense modeling and forecasting initiatives across the organization. You’ll partner cross-functionally to deliver insights that inform budgeting and strategic planning. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in financial modeling, a bias toward data-driven problem solving, and a keen understanding of operational drivers within fast-moving organizations. What You'll Do Build, maintain, and improve expense forecasting models across departments, with an emphasis on scalability and accuracy Drive monthly and quarterly close and forecast cycles, ensuring key stakeholders understand variances and trends Collaborate with business partners to develop budgets, identify cost optimization opportunities, and align on financial expectations Translate complex financial data into clear business insights and presentations for senior leadership Develop ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives What We’re Looking For 5+ years of relevant experience in FPA, strategic, or corporate finance (preferably at a tech company). Proven expertise in Excel/Google Sheets financial modeling, especially expense modeling and scenario analysis Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions Exceptional communication skills — comfortable presenting financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset Time shift working: PST Time Bonus Points Experience working with FPA tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Workday, NetSuite, TM1, Snowflake, Biquery) Familiarity with SQL or other analytical tools Exposure to operating in scaling, fast-paced environments Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location. This role may also be eligible for a bonus and/or long term incentives.
