As a key member of our Corporate Accounting Team, you will play a vital role in supporting Hulu's financial reporting needs and managing intercompany processes, allocations, and related party transactions. Our Controllership group is responsible for ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization, and we're looking for a talented Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to join our team. Key Responsibilities Aid in the maintenance of general ledgers and the month-end close cycle related to corporate accounting, including the preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany disposals, intercompany allocations, and related party transactions Prepare and review reconciliations for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis and perform change analyses Monitor intercompany accounts, address any out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany settlements Track related party transactions throughout the financial year and perform valuation analyses to determine whether related party transactions are at arm's length Collaborate with the Treasury, Legal, and other groups within Controllership to obtain necessary supporting documentation Work directly with the Supervisor, Financial Accounting - Corporate on ad-hoc projects Aid in the preparation of Hulu's financial statements through the preparation of financial schedules and footnotes Research technical accounting questions and prepare accounting memos to document changes in accounting treatment Help to manage internal and external audits by working with requests and preparing status meetings Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: 3+ years of accounting experience Solid knowledge of US GAAP Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of urgency Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization Team-oriented perspective with a positive attitude Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus: A mix of public and private work experience Experience in SAP Entertainment or technology industry experience CPA license What We Offer As a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst at Hulu, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about entertainment and committed to excellence.
