Senior Field Commercial Property Claims Specialist | Remote

Our client, an A rated Insurance Company, is seeking to add a Senior Field Commercial Property Claims Specialist to manage the Atlanta territory. This individual will be responsible for handling mid to complex Commercial Property losses from field investigation through resolution. Qualified candidates must possess an active Adjuster’s License and have prior experience handling field-based commercial property claims. Responsibilities: • Responsible for handling moderate to complex Commercial Property losses throughout the Greater Atlanta region. • Average 1-3 new claims per week. • Conduct on-site inspections and investigations of commercial property losses across assigned territories. • Verify and analyze policy coverage, determine liability, and manage claims through resolution. • Evaluate damages, prepare detailed reports, and negotiate equitable settlements. • Direct and manage external vendors, engineers, appraisers, and counsel as necessary. • Apply statutes, common law, and regulatory compliance standards for proper resolution of claims. • Maintain high levels of customer service and adhere to company Best Practices. Requirements: • 5 - 10+ years of Commercial Property claims handling experience, with strong field adjusting expertise. • Must be well versed in drafting coverage position letters. • Active Adjuster’s License required. • Strong knowledge in Xactimate is highly preferred. • Prior Guidewire software experience is a plus. • Experience handling business income, extra expense losses, and litigated files. • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
