Senior External Life Sales Advisor
As a Senior External Life Sales Advisor, you will work closely with American Family Insurance agents to support life insurance policies. Preferred candidates will be based in Arizona; however, we will also consider candidates located elsewhere in the Western region. You will perform joint sales calls with agents, coachesâ agents on best practices, delivers expertise in group settings.
Position Compensation Range:
$80,000.00 - $131,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
â˘You will identify and develop sales strategies designed to increase the sales success of the field sales force and enhance the experience of customers.
â˘Communicate product sales opportunities and strategies and product or procedure changes/enhancements.
â˘Participate in the design and implementation of life company programs to increase life sales with distribution partners.
â˘Complete analysis of geographic region that identifies trends and potential areas of strength and opportunity. Identifies unarticulated expectations and presents unsolicited proposals to help company leadership and management achieve business goals.
â˘Provide recommendations or solutions when working with distribution partners.
â˘Work with assigned state leadership teams to develop and execute sales state life initiatives.
â˘Provide prospecting, sales skill and product knowledge coaching. Assist agents with reviewing their book of business to identify immediate and potential sales opportunities.
â˘Provide product information, customer planning solutions and sales assistance. Has thorough knowledge to illustrate and position our products in an innovative way.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
â˘2+ years of Life Insurense experience
â˘Experience working with insurance agents preferred.
â˘Strong internal drive to succeed in a competitive environment.
â˘Outstanding sales acumen.
â˘Strong presentation skills.
â˘Ability to manage multiple projects.
â˘Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of growing business.
Licenses.
â˘Must have an active Life License
â˘CLU, ChFC or CFP designation must be obtained within 3 years.
â˘Resident Life license within 30 days of hire.
â˘Non-resident Life license within 90 days of hire.
â˘Valid driverâs license required plus an acceptable driving record.
Travel Requirements
â˘Up to 10%.
