Role Description
This is a full-time, remote position for a Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager specializing in Division 08. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, managing preconstruction activities, and collaborating with project team. Responsibilities include analyzing project requirements, reviewing blueprints, preparing take-offs, and coordinating with vendors and contractors. The individual will also ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets while identifying value-engineering opportunities to optimize project outcomes.
Qualifications
• Comprehensive knowledge in cost estimation, budget preparation, and preconstruction planning
• Strong understanding of Division 08 specifications, materials, and construction processes
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and project documents
• Experience with Comsense software for project estimating and management
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with the team
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail necessary for accurate estimates
• Minimum 5 years experience in he division 08 industry.
