Senior Engineering Manager – Conversational AI & Voice Systems Role Overview We are searching for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the development of an advanced AI-powered voice assistant designed to revolutionize how people interact with essential services. This system is built to manage unlimited inbound calls, provide real-time scheduling, and deliver a seamless conversational experience using cutting-edge large language models (LLMs) and voice technology. Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Lead and grow a team of software engineers, delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. • Partner with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to shape the product roadmap and long-term technical vision. • Contribute to organizational culture by developing engineering career paths, supporting cross-team initiatives, and fostering an inclusive environment. • Mentor engineers to elevate technical quality, guide best practices, and accelerate delivery of new AI-driven features. • Ensure platform reliability with strong emphasis on security, scalability, uptime, and system performance. • Integrate and experiment with the latest generative AI technologies, voice systems, and automation frameworks. What Success Looks Like • Proven ability to ship multiple features to external customers as either an IC or manager. • Deep understanding of software development methodologies and modern product engineering practices. • Experience managing consumer-facing applications at scale with cloud-native architectures and microservices. • Technical fluency in AWS environments, React/JavaScript for front-end, and C# or equivalent for backend development. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment across technical and non-technical teams. • Humility and empathy in leadership—valuing every team member and handling challenging conversations with respect and fairness.
