How You'll Make an Impact
ā¢ Lead electrical design for advanced data center transformers, including winding concepts, losses, insulation, and performance optimization.
ā¢ Develop calculations, simulations, and engineering documentation for bids and execution.
ā¢ Align designs with IEEE, IEC, and customer-specific requirements.
ā¢ Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, cooling, and system engineering teams.
ā¢ Participate in customer design reviews and present engineering rationale.
ā¢ Support testing, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
ā¢ Drive innovation and standardization in materials, design methods, and digital enhancements.
ā¢ Provide technical input for tenders, vendor evaluations, and project delivery.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
ā¢ 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally with power transformers or data center applications.
ā¢ Deep knowledge of transformer electrical design, insulation systems, losses, and short-circuit behavior.
ā¢ Strong understanding of IEEE/IEC transformer standards.
ā¢ Experience collaborating across global, multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
ā¢ Familiarity with analysis and simulation tools such as Trafostar/Spectra.
