Senior Director of Payroll-HYBRID
Senior Director of Payroll Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid)
Compensation: $140,000+ base salary + 10% bonus potential
We are partnering with a highly-reputable, privately-held company in Owings Mills, MD to hire a Senior Director of Payroll to lead and elevate their payroll function. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who thrives in a collaborative, employee-focused environment and wants to make a meaningful impact.
The Opportunity The Senior Director of Payroll will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement while leading a talented payroll team of 5 individuals. This role offers strong visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and long-term growth potential.
Offering Competitive base salary $140,000+, plus bonus potential

What We're Looking For in this Senior Director of Payroll: Proven Payroll leadership experience at the Director or Manager level (or equivalent)
High-volume, multi-entity payroll experience
Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, controls, and best practices
Experience working with third-party payroll providers
Workday payroll experience preferred
Proven ability to lead and develop teams and partner cross-functionally
Hands-on, detail-oriented leader who values accuracy, collaboration, and culture
