Senior Director of Operations

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Operations to support and scale our Single Event department, accelerating the performance and scalability of our lien resolution offering. This is a strategic role for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and brings a consulting mindset to operational leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying improvement opportunities, driving cross-functional collaboration, and delivering scalable solutions. Success in this role requires the ability to rapidly assess department workflows, develop actionable insights, and lead initiatives that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and impact. The Senior Director of Operations will be instrumental in evolving the department’s structure, systems, and processes to support company growth and client satisfaction.While experience in lien resolution or subrogation is helpful, it is not required; we are seeking a leader with strong operational and strategic experience who can quickly learn and apply domain knowledge.RequirementsResponsibilitiesOrganizational Scaling and Efficiency:Evaluate operational challenges, develop structured recommendations, and lead high-impact initiatives that improve performance and scalabilityTranslate insights into scalable solutions by designing and implementing workflows and operational playbooks that support future growthDefine and leverage performance metrics and data insights to inform decisions, resolve bottlenecks, and measure resultsContribute to the financial performance of the department, including budgeting, cost management, and improving profitability through operational efficiencyTeam Leadership and Personnel Management:Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and support to drive individual and team performance aligned with departmental goalsEstablish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring consistent execution and supporting employee growth over timeCustomer-Centric Mindset: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and client prioritiesPartner closely with Client Success and Sales to ensure operational execution supports client renewals, retention, and expansionIdentify and drive improvements that enhance the client experience, reduce friction, and support long-term retentionCross-Department Coordination:Partner closely with leaders across all departments to ensure strategic alignment and support effective execution of cross-functional initiativesCollaborate with Engineering and Product teams to identify system-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and scalabilityQualifications:10+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders5+ years of experience in a consulting firm or internal consulting capacity is highly preferredMBA or JD preferredExperience in high-impact roles where the individual has demonstrated success in scaling processes, increasing efficiency, and directly contributing to business growthProven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex operations, summarize issues, and provide succinct recommendations to drive lasting changeStrong background in scaling teams, improving workflows, and measuring performance outcomesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence across functionsAnalytical and data-driven, with strong problem-solving capabilitiesWillingness to travel 10-20%BenefitsPrivate Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Company HSA contributions for HDHP participantsFlexible Spending Accounts (Health & Dependent Care)Company-Paid Short-Term Disability CoverageVoluntary Long-Term Disability, Life, AD&D, and Supplemental Coverage Options401(k) Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Time & Select Holidays)Paid Parental LeavePay Disclosure: The total base salary range for this role is $152,000 - $228,000 annually.
