Job Overview The Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics will lead the charge in identifying and mitigating adversarial abuse, driving data-driven insights, and informing strategic decision making at arenaflex. This critical role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in risk management, data analysis, and team leadership. As a key member of the Trust and Safety team, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and implement effective solutions, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and eliminating malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, engagement abuse, and evading termination Develop and implement data-driven strategies to detect and prevent adversarial abuse, leveraging machine learning and data analytics techniques Collaborate with the Policy Development team to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe malicious behavior Deliver effective and efficient operational performance, including quality, service levels, and talent management, in a global team working 24×7 Manage accelerations with tight timelines, providing data-driven insights and implementing policies while building relationships with key cross-functional partners Stay up-to-date with emerging industry trends, including generative AI, and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science) 4+ years of experience in risk management, fraud detection, and data analysis 2+ years of experience working with engineering teams to develop and deploy machine learning models 2+ years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard hours as accelerations require Strong understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners Preferred Qualifications Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science) 2+ years of experience in analysis of large datasets and anomaly detection Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities Knowledge of SQL, R, Matlab, or other programming languages Exceptional business judgment, strategic, and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
